TIRAN ISLAND
Tiran Island is considered uninhabited. It is located almost at the mouth of the Gulf of Aqaba, opposite the resort of Sharm el-Sheikh. It is part of the marine reserve of Ras Mohammed National Park, so strict rules of behavior apply here so that the normal functioning of the ecosystem is not disrupted. The island itself belongs to Saudi Arabia but is under a long-term lease from Egypt. Accordingly, the island is a border zone and a place where migratory birds nest and turtles lay eggs.
The absence of civilized forms of life on the island (although there is an observation base of the UN military mission located here) contributes to the cleanliness of the sea, the abundance of unafraid living creatures and the transparency of the water. This, in turn, is favorable for scuba diving enthusiasts. Four magnificent coral reefs and blue lagoons – to see this magnificence, regular excursions are conducted from Sharm el-Sheikh to the island. Everyone who has visited this “wild” place usually experiences unbridled delight. In addition to nature itself, on the reefs off Tiran Island, there are several sunken ships already covered with shells and corals. You can often see schools of dolphins here. Hiking around the island is not possible.
MAKADI BAY
Makadi Bay is an untouched bay on the Red Sea coast between the resorts of Safaga and Hurghada. The resort is cut off from the outside world and not saturated with its excesses, which makes this place pristinely beautiful and secluded. However, the lack of civilization here does not mean a lack of service and high-level entertainment.
About entertainment: diving to sunken ships and other types of water sports (four dive centers and a base for windsurfing), relaxation on the coast of a beautiful lagoon with amazing beaches (the tourist season on the beaches of Makadi Bay lasts all year round), wellness center, discos, bars and hotels of only four and five stars. The resort has all the conditions for a relaxing and comfortable holiday.
UTOPIA ISLAND
Utopia Island is an amazing place that is part of a coral reserve. It is named so because several times a year, it completely disappears under the waves of the Red Sea. At any time of the year, the water temperature here is always 5 degrees higher than in other regions. This creates favorable conditions for the growth of an incredibly diverse range of corals. This is a shallow place where you can see fantastic landscapes of the seabed – without wearing scuba gear. All you need is a mask and fins because all the richness of the coral garden is in full view. During your excursion to the island, you will have an hour and a half to swim, sunbathe and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.
NAAMA BAY
Naama Bay is a windless bay with sandy beaches and a bottom relatively cleared of corals. For those who like to swim in the depths, entry into the sea is possible via pontoons. You can admire fish on living coral reefs. The underwater life of the bay, of course, is not so lively due to the artificially designated beach, but there is still something to see.
Naama Bay is the unofficial capital of Sharm el-Sheikh; along the long street, there are numerous restaurants, shopping centers, nightclubs, Pacha, Little Buddha, and Hard Rock Cafe. A unique atmosphere of the East reigns all around – the aromas of spices and incense hang in the air, and souvenir shops are full of handmade carpets and tapestries, all kinds of figurines, figurines, and antiques.
PARADISE ISLAND
Paradise Island, or Paradise Island, is located in the southeastern part of the Red Sea. This island is small, from a distance, resembling a sun-scorched spot with a lone palm tree in the middle. The water in this part of the sea is unusually warm and incredibly clear, and the sandy beach is white, shallow and clean. You can enter the sea from the island without any problems – the entrance to the sea is smooth and comfortable.
There is almost no coral around the island. On the beach, there are palm-shaped umbrellas under which you can relax comfortably, several bars with drinks and light snacks, several cafes, and a toilet. There are always many yachts docked near the island because many tourists come here on excursion programs, a mandatory point of which is a visit to this amazing island.
